HTC Will Name Their Upcoming Flagship HTC 10

HTC has changed the strategy for their flagship phone brand by eliminating ‘One M’. They decided to change the name of the successor of HTC One M9 and they will name it HTC 10=This new report came from @Evleaks, as he wrote on his Twitter account:

You heard it here first:

“HTC 10”

We still don’t know the reason for the name change. Previously, HTC had some series like One M, One A, One X, and Desire. If HTC names their upcoming flagship HTC 10, that means the company will ditch the tradition. It may confuse the users.

Even though this is still a rumor but the trending hashtag #powerof10 can become one of the indications to show that they are strengthening the brand 10. This trending is showed on a teaser video for the upcoming smartphone. The number 10 has its own brand power in today’s technology world as it’s also used in Mac OS X (read: ten) and Microsoft uses it on Windows 10.

Last year, HTC released their latest flagship in March, and they supposed to do the same thing this year, but up to now there is no further information on when they will release HTC 10.
